When visiting Blue Cypress Lake, the only place to stay is Blue Cypress Lakeside Cabins, a one-minute walk to the free county boat ramp, Middleton’s Fish Camp and the tackle store where — when it’s open — you can get ice, snacks and soft drinks.
Lately the shop is closed more than it is open, but we hope that changes soon.
Please note that Middleton’s Fish Camp is not owned or managed Blue Cypress Lakeside Cabins.
Blue Cypress Lakeside Cabins rents lodging (only lodging; no boats) on Blue Cypress Lake.
Fish camp hours vary, and we recommend bringing everything you need with you when you come, including ice, bait, tackle and fuel.
Check in is at 4 p.m. We will try to accommodate an earlier check-in when possible. We hope you can arrive early, by 8 p.m. at the latest. Please call 772-770-2067 if you will arrive later than 8 p.m.
Each housing unit at Blue Cypress Lakeside Cabins is equipped with an efficiency kitchen that includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, kitchen sink and plenty of counter space to prepare your delicious gourmet dinners while visiting Middleton’s Fish Camp and staying on Blue Cypress Lake.
Efficiency kitchens are furnished with dishes, silverware, cookware and common cooking utensils, as well as a coffee maker and a toaster. (Remember your own coffee and filters, please).
There are clean and lighted fish-cleaning areas within steps of all the units.
You can launch your boat for free at the county ramp at Middleton’s Fish Camp. No need to launch daily. Keep your boat docked along the rear of our cabins, right on the edge of Blue Cypress Lake.
We will try to keep our website current, however, prices are subject to change without notice. Your rate is guaranteed when you make your reservation.
